My Sling 5-15-11

I created my own sling to wear post surgery. I had a piece of bone removed from my lovely dislocated elbow. I figured that i wouldn't want my arm in an actual sling due to the stiches and incision. So I created this contraction......
Only to find out that i was doing so great post surgery that I didn't really need to use it. Talk about frustrating. :-)

Baby Blanket for Charles Rufus Sherwood

Trevor and Trista had their beautiful baby boy Charlie who was born 5/29/11. I made this blanket with a stitch called Entrelac Tunisian stitch. Loved it!!! Only downside is the corners tend to curl and need to be pressed down. Baby sized blanket only took me about 2 wks max to make. Love it! Creation completed 4/15/11.

Sunflower Card

This cute card was made for a gal in my Spanish branch. She's been Shayla's nursery leader lately and Shayla is just loving her. She saw this really cute pink dress and cute black church shoes at the goodwill and bought it for Shayla. It looks so cute on her. So naturally I had to make a thank you card for her as well. :-) Love you Hma. Cortez!!

My Quilled Thank you card

I made this Thank You card for my BFF's Mommy. Her mom gave Akayla and Shayla a big bucket of old clothes that were just as cute as can be. :-)

Crochet Phone/Ipad Covers

I made the Ipad Cover for my darling Sister Triana for her B-day.

The phone cover I love cause even though it's crocheted that is some serious extra padding to keep my ipod and phone from getting any damage. :-)

Head warmers ($10.00 each)

I have began creating these fun head warmers that have been a blast to make. I got the idea from Victorian Christmas this year where they were selling the knitted versions. As I'm not nearly as good at knitting as I am at crocheting, I have had to create my own pattern. Here are my end results.
